ALIEN ABDUCTION THEORY It feels like I've landed on some other planet I was looking at the stars when I started falling in I went through the basement on a previous engagement I was staring at a candle when it started to begin Hold the hands on the clock and look it in the face The future's coming in from outer space I always wondered what would happen and it is finally here and we just sit and watch it disappear Someone in the lighthouse is making it bright out Look over the horizon, set sail for getting lost Somewhere in this wasteland, no use now for holding hands The sky is turning upside down and you can't make it stop Hold the hands on the clock and look it in the face The future's coming in from outer space I always wondered what would happen and it is finally here and we just sit and watch it disappear Hold the hands on the clock and keep this day in place The future's coming in from outer space I always wondered what would happen if you just disappeared Now there's no sign that you were ever here Please move over, I'm getting closer I feel like I just stepped in from outer space

TRUTH IS WHAT HAPPENS I'll catch a picture in the mirror and glass. I set some traps of metered light but I think my bulb forgot to flash. It's all moving faster, but I am slowing things down. Take a count of every second, but the first and third are not around. Truth is strange and oddly arranged. I'll try to focus on the matter in hand. Act on a passive notion, I once was in a punk rock band. But now I whisper, what could be closer than this? With good luck and a lot of time there's nothing that I cannot fix. Truth is strange and subject to change. Truth is strange and kind of insane. Truth is strange, pour the champagne. Because it's almost perfect, so close to there. But when the rapture settles, I'd like to think I could still care. Because I duck for cover when things are going my way. I hope that no one asks me what it is I want to say. Truth is strange and oddly arranged. Truth is strange, but I'm not to blame.

ABOUT THE MOOON YESTERDAY What did our son have to say, about the mooon yesterday? Did you offer him the ice cream? Do you think he'll stay? Did he complain about the conditions? Did you have any visions? Did he walk on the lake? Did he walk through the flames? Close your eyes and I'll pick you up. His words were very strange. They could be taken in any way. I gave him a quarter for a nice dream. Sleep was only an arm's length away, when he grabbed my hand and he made an incision, and it fucked up my vision, and he walked on the lake, and he walked through the flames. Close your eyes, and I'll pick you up.

IF YOU'RE ON TIME YOU CAN GET OFF ME Once you're erected put your breakfast in your face. I'll make the coffee and you can watch me to be safe. A voice in your head said you should poor it down the drain. Can you fall asleep to the sound of machines? Try counting sheep or make believe. Will you die in your sleep if you die in dreams? Can you become deceased by inner means? The things that you see are so easily explained. I'll snap my fingers and you'll consider being sane ... for just one day. Don't get excited, but you're invited to be strange. Can you fall asleep to the sound of machines? Try counting sheep or make believe. Will you die in your sleep if you die in dreams? Can you become deceased by inner means? Just close your eyes and go to sleep. I've synchronized all your dreams. If you're on time you can get off me.

THE BRINGER OF DROUGHT The pastor gave a speech about recompense, said she should burn. The lawyer's words touched on common sense, said we should learn. But I doubt what they said will cause it to rain because the bringer of drought has brought it again, and the fields are so bone dry they burst open in flames. And the fields were green the day before she came. Now they're tossing seeds but the phallus is in pain. And I doubt what they said now will cause it to rain because the bringer of drought has brought it again, and the fields are so bone dry they burst open in flames, and the woman in black was consumed by the flames, oh yeah.

PRETTY FLOWERS Sometimes things just go right over me I don't see what's suppose to be in front of my face. I should move slowly when nothing is below me. Sometimes it's really hard to wait, but she lets me look at each new day clean. I just want to sit for hours and play with this new power. I'd list all the things she means to me, but with all the things she seems to be, I could go on for days. I could move faster it you could hear her laughter. I wouldn't need to go through every thing if I could just make you see what she means when she says April showers always bring May flowers. She has her own sense hyperbole always giving the world to me. She makes me shake and she believes in a special kind of reason, but her numbers are all in line and her letters are doing fine so I believe when she says only cowards don't like pretty flowers. She's got the whole thing down to a science now. She found a way to say everything's OK and I love when she's all over me. She opened herself up. I saw her blood and guts. She put the needle on the record straight

She's a melody stuck in my mind I nearly lost control in 7/8 time. There she goes again to another refrain. I want to know her inside and out like a piece of food stuck in my mouth She's so very sweet my teeth are decayed. Snowcap on a sunny day, Gumdrop when it starts to rain, a sweet something to me She's an episode of my favorite cartoon, but the commercial came a little too soon and she won't be back after the break. So I got wasted alone at the zoo and at the crocodile den I took off my boots and I walked in until it was over my head. There's voices sounding very strange. I wonder what they're trying to say. Hey! I think they're trying to explain what I did today. Now I get to go again, pull that bar down and lock me in. Let's get things moving. Let's get things moving now. © 2020 ALL SONGS ARE STUPID

OUR HUNGRY HERO Hello mister new man, how are you today? Every step is different, that is what they say but you're always moving forward through space and time. Jerk into motion while the key unwinds. You are human, oh come on mister blue man. oh hello mister new man. Ampersand memories and your faces switch. Etcetera forever getting sick of this. Once in a lifetime you can change your mind. Oh come on mister blue man. Oh hello mister new man. You are a true man too. Hungry hungry hero bring home your bread consider you're mistaken too late you're dead.

OUT OF THE BLUE I always end up killing time with clumsy hands and foggy mind. I'm not really sure what I can do, something will happen pretty soon. Should I invest in mutual funds and prepare for the things to come? I'm sorry, but I'm feeling loud, still trying to figure this trick out. As serious as a tattoo, it's hard to have that spot removed. Everything hot is getting cold, I really think it's time to go. And it came out of the blue, a concept for everything. Don't get involved in the chase, but put a little in your pocket for later. And when you catch up with later, try to enjoy the change in almost every day. I'm still getting bored with everything. I think I'll have another drink. Late night things makes sense, but in the morning I forget. But when I'm ill she makes me toast and things like that can give me hope. Do do do do do do do do, she really helps improve my mood. La la la la la la la la, everything cold is getting hot. I really don't more to say, I think it's time to go away. And it came out of the blue, a concept for everything. Don't get involved in the chase, but put a little in your pocket for later. And when you catch up to later, try to enjoy the change. And it came out of the blue, a concept for everything.

SUBJUNCTIVITIS What if I said I had an accident, but it's OK she's just getting her revenge. What if I said I have a hole in my head, but it's OK I can fill it up again. What was the last word that you used, I'm just a little bit confused and was the last word that you said really the last word that you meant? What if I said that I am content, but it's OK I'm still getting out of bed. What if I said that I can pretend, but it's OK I never doubted my intent. What was the last word that you used? I'm still a little bit confused. And was the last word that you said really the last word that you meant? What if I said that it was dead?

Butterflies 02:45
BUTTERFLIES Tell off the manager, slide down the banister, hit the ground running, I assure you everything is fine. If you can't destroy it, it's best to avoid it. You'll get your chance another time. Get up and on your way. Go down through everything. Through the lines, but I don't really mind. Ignore the cutting, I assure you they'll get their's in time. If you adjust the focus the swarm of locusts can turn out to be butterflies. Get up and on your way. Go down through everything.

THE BEAST VS. THE CLOCK The Beast in the great blue yonder is clipping grass like an agro-barber sniffing flowers with a sense of wonder with a dash of lightening and a pinch of thunder. But The Clock has an army of watches using time as a weapon to stop this running Drills and performing marches lining them up and beating them senseless. The Beast tries to plant more flowers starts killing time by the hour. The Clock put him in an ivory tower delusions of grandeur, delusions of power. But The Clock keeps moving faster trying to capture what comes after. The Beast fights back with a burst of laughter he realizes death doesn't matter.
